MUSIC STUDENTS CHRISTMAS CONCERT RAISING MONEY FOR THE ICENI PROJECT

On Thursday 8 December 2011, students from Suffolk New College Music Department came together for their annual Christmas Concert.

This year’s event was held at the St Peters Centre. There was over 80 students performing in the concert, celebrating the end of a fabulous term at Suffolk New College. The students looked for inspiration for the performance from songwriters such as Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles and Michael Jackson.  Also the Suffolk New College Vocal Ensemble performed at the concert, which will be led by Sue Double.

There was also an art exhibition featuring work by students from the Art and Design department on show at the venue.

It was a fundraising event that raised money for the ICENI Project, many thanks to all those who attended.
