Suffolk College Says Farewell To Corporation Members - 18 October 2004

Suffolk College recently said farewell to two of its Corporation members at a special lunch.

Annette Whybrow, Business Member and partner at Birketts Solicitors, served on the Finance & Employment (Chaired), Campus Strategy, Remuneration and Search (Chaired) Committees. She was replaced by Jonathan Ripman, a partner at Gotelee & Goldsmith.

Wilf Webber, Staff Member, served on the Physical Resources, Academic Standards and Audit Committees from September 1998 to July 2003. He was replaced by Phil Charlesworth, Director of Academic Resourcing Unit.

Andrew Shelley, Chair of Suffolk College Corporation, said, "For ten years the College was lucky to have Annette's knowledge of business and the law at our deliberations, our thanks and best wishes go with her. Wilf was a good communicator who was highly respected by staff and management. Our best wishes go with him and his wife in retirement. They will be a hard act to follow."
