Success for Suffolk College Construction Student - 24 May 2004
Paul Rolph, currently studying for an NVQ2 in Carpentry and Joinery at Suffolk College, has today been awarded a Builder Centre Training Award for High Achievement during Training.
This is a national award, jointly sponsored by the Construction Industry Training Board and Wolseley UK Ltd, a leading supplier of builders' products to the professional market.
Paul's tutor, Steve Everitt , nominated Paul for demonstrating outstanding practical tool skills and the excellence in his efforts shown so far during his training.
Paul is employed locally by Robert Norman Associates Ltd, whose Managing Director, Robert Norman , said, “Congratulations to Paul on winning Suffolk Apprentice of the year. This award is a reflection of his efforts and the team at Suffolk College together with his fellow craftsmen at Robert Norman Associates. Paul’s success highlights the companies commitment to quality construction.”
In addition to receiving a certificate, Paul also received a voucher for £100 to be spent atthe Ipswich branch of Build Centre.
