Mind And Body - 6 October 2004
Building on the success of previous years, students, staff and friends of Suffolk College are hosting their annual event to celebrate World Mental Health Dayon Monday, 11 October 2004.
This year's theme ' Understanding the Relationship Between Mind and Body' promises to be exciting, fun and informative, linking how our physical health can influence our mental health and how our mental health is so important to how we feel physically.
Various activities will include: an anger corner, a wall of thoughts, trampoline, write a message to someone special on a balloon, and an opportunity to experience reflexology. There will also be a musical interlude between 12.30pm - 1.30pm by Brendon Ware.
Many agencies will be attending including Richmond Fellowship, Ipswich Primary Care Trust, Suffolk Coastal PCT, Suffolk Mental Health, Samaritans, Suffolk Young People's Project, Bridge House, Suffolk Helpline, BBC Radio Suffolk Action Desk, Connexions, Mental Aftercare Association, NATFHE and the Iceni Project.
