Ipswich Society Annual Awards - 6 November 2003

An exciting range of buildings and public realm improvements (including public works of art) have been nominated for the annual Ipswich Society awards. The awards evening will be hosted by Suffolk College on Wednesday 12 November and will take place in the recently refurnished lecture theatre. Ipswich is economically vibrant with a wealth of new development taking place and members of the Society have suggested a range of projects for consideration.

Suffolk College Principal, Professor Dave Müller, will introduce the evening and welcome the architects, builders and developers together with members of the Society. All buildings nominated will be presented to the gathering prior to the announcement of the winners. Chris Wiltshire will again comment and criticise the nominations before announcing the winners.

The evening will conclude with a buffet provided and prepared by catering students of Suffolk College giving the guests the opportunity to meet with the winning owners and their respective design and construction partners.
