Suffolk College Students Visiting Arras, France - 28 March 2007
The Suffolk College Students’ Union football and basketball teams (pictured below) are currently in Arras, France, taking part in an International Festival of Sport - which includes teams of students from other countries including Romania, Canada and Poland - and a features variety of different sports.
They will be welcomed to the town by the Mayor of Arras, the welcome will be followed by a game of basketball and a football match against the University of Artois which is hosting the event. A cultural relationship has been formed over the previous years of our participation.
As part of the tour the students will visit Paris where they will get to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arc d’Trumph and take a trip down the Champs d’Elysees.
