Suffolk College Launches New Name and Brand - 1 November 2006

A breakfast meeting was held at Suffolk College recently to launch the Suffolk New College name and brand, together with the new prospectus for 2007-2008.

Chairman of Suffolk College Corporation, the Reverend Peter Mortimer, said, “The College is experiencing profound change and will soon be focussing exclusively on the provision of further education. In September 2008 we will move into a new building which will be part of the Ipswich education quarter.”

The edgy, modern logo was created by London-based company Lloyd Northover to convey the true personally of Suffolk New College. The ‘S’ of the logo not only stands for Suffolk, but the shape also reflects the dynamism and energy of the College. The coloured lines used represent the many different paths a student can take, while the different colours indicate the diversity of students and how they all come together at Suffolk New College.
