Students' Union Office Officially open for business!

STUDENTS’ UNION NEW OFFICE OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Suffolk New College Students’ Union has recently moved into new accommodation in the atrium of the college. 

The new accommodation was officially opened on Monday 24 January by Suffolk New College Principal, Dave Muller with support from Corporation Member and College Fellow Hamil Clarke, College Fellow Rachel Sloane and the Students’ Union Executive Committee.

Following the official opening, students had the opportunity to find out more about the Students’ Union and how they can get involved, and sign up for a variety of trips and activities. They were also able to test their skills on the Wii and Xbox in the games room

Matthew Catchpole, Students’ Union President said: “It’s great to have such a fantastic location for the SU, its really central and the students’ can call in anytime of the day. We’ve got some brilliant things happening around the College and it’s nice to be able to show them off to everyone.”

Dave Muller, Principal said: “The Students’ Union plays a big part in the life of the College, they are the voice between the students and the Senior Team. We work closely together to ensure that our students enjoy their time at College, succeed and make the most of what is available to them.
