Student Awarded Army Bursary
SUFFOLK NEW COLLEGE STUDENTS RECEIVING ARMY BURSARY
Matthew Sharman a current Health & Social Care student at Suffolk New College will be receiving his FE Bursary Scheme with the British Army at a ceremony on Wednesday 2 February 2011 at 10am. The Army bursary scheme pays you £1000 a year while you study at College if you are aged between 16 and 32. When you finish your course there a guaranteed job in the army waiting for you, as well as £1000 after you complete basic training. It doesn’t matter what subject you are studying and some courses are eligible for additional payments of up to £2500.
We would like to invite members of the media to be present at the event giving you the opportunity to talk with Matthew and members of the British Army about the scheme. The event will commence at 10am on Wednesday 2 February 2011 and is being held in the boardrooms at Suffolk New College.
