New Programme Leader for Business Development

Suffolk New College is pleased to announce the appointment of Nika Watt as Programme Leader for Business Development.

Nika joins the college from Customer Service Direct where she managed the graduate development programme and apprenticeship scheme. Nika’s new role will be to expand the colleges already established local employer contacts and move the successful work based learning and apprenticeships programmes forward.

Nika started her career as a teacher and worked abroad in Greece and Sweden. Her employment background is in the retail sector in both training and generalist Human Resources for Asda and Debenhams. Culminating at Customer Service Direct, which built on her enthusiasm for working with young people, using her experience as an employer to get more young people into employment and encourage further development once employed. She has now come full circle and back to her roots in education.
