ATA Body Shop Showcase
Personnel from over 50 body shops in the area will be attending an ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) Showcase organised by Suffolk College on the 25 April 2007.
Spokesman on the night will be Steve Schofield, from the Institute of the Motor Industry, who will be discussing the IMI’s role in the ATA process and how it’s linked to BSI PAS 125.
The BSI PAS 125 is universal PAS (Publicly Available Specification) for the body repair industry, which will form the basis of the Bodyshop Kitemark Scheme. The aim is to allow the body repair industry to benchmark their services and working practices and in so doing demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the quality and integrity of repairs.
