Art & Design Summer Show June 2010

The end of year show included self initiated Final Major Project work by the 200 Art, Design & Media students at Suffolk New College completing their studies this academic year. The show took place in the Atrium and the Arts & Design space at Suffolk New College, the work on show looked to reflect the high quality, innovative and diverse range of the students work.

We invited members of the press to the Private View on Tuesday 22 June 2010 5.30pm – 8.00pm. There was a presentation of the Victoria Davidson Awards in the Atrium at 6.30pm, recognising the most outstanding student in each of the main Art & Design pathways of Fashion & Textiles, Fine Art, Graphics, Lens Based and 3-D Design.

Once again this year the courses have outstanding achievement rates and some of the highest rates of internal progression and progression to Higher Education in the country. Many students have gained places at the most highly regarded colleges and universities around the country.
