Stephen Pugh

Stephen became a member of Corporation in May 2011. He is Finance Director of Adnams plc.

He holds an economics degree from Cambridge University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London. He is also a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He has worked in a variety of finance, treasury and taxation roles for The Economist Group, Burberrys and NM Rothschild. He moved to Ipswich in 1991 and worked briefly in the Treasury department of Fisons plc.

 Stephen is Chairman of the Policy & Technical Committee of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and a member of their Council. He is also financial adviser to the Ipswich young person’s charity, 4YP.
